Hi guys,
We often have a hard time figuring out how to install the developer toolkit for Dynamics CRM in Visual Studio 2013 as Microsoft never released an official version of the toolkit for Visual Studio 2013.
I am indebted to this post here that puts the steps that one would need to follow to install the developer toolkit in VS 2013.

.
1. Here is the ZIP that is created by following the first 10 steps. Extract the attached ZIP and run the
“Microsoft.CrmDeveloperTools.vsix” file in the folder “Visual Studio” by double
clicking it. This will install the toolkit in VS2013.
2.
2. A registry file needs to be created if Visual
Studio 2012 is not already installed. The details for the registry file related
changes are here.
The details are in the step marked as the “Final step” after step # 10.
Once installed successfully the following templates will be
visible in Visual Studio 2013.
Let me know if there are any issues that you face while installing the developer toolkit in Visual Studio 2013. Happy coding!
